Notes

This sunflower dish cloth is a first project showing how you can use a regular hexagon together with elongated hexagons. Please note that the side lengths of the hexagons that you’re using need to be the same, in this case 2”.

Weave:

  • (1) regular hexagon in brown
  • (6) elongated hexagons in yellow

Assembly:

  • Use the photos as guidance.
  • Lay flat the brown regular hexagon.
  • Use the end tail of each elongated hexagon to attach the yellow “petal” to the center.
  • Use the beginning tail of each elongated hexagon to join the sides of the petals over one hexagon side together.
