Received the yarn and pattern in a knittyboard swap the day I started it. LOVE IT! We were on our way out the door to drive to Grand Rapids, MI to see The Life and Times (an awesome band, btw) so all I had were US7 DPNs, so I couldn’t knit for very long. But so far so good!

02/28/12- Had to start over, I didn’t do the cast on/set up right. For some reason I just cannot get the provisional cast on and picked up stitches right, so instead I did a regular cast on and picked up 2 stitches from the CO side. Now it looks right OTN.

04/21/12- Finally hit the 1/2 point based on # of stitches. 21 rows to go before the lace border, and I’m about to join my 3rd skein.

6/29/12- Started the lace part!!! Had to cast on several times before I felt like I got it right. First repeat down, twenty-one to go.

7/18/12- More than half way done with the lace… I can see the end of it, and it is beautiful!

7/23/12- Finally finished the knitting. Now to weave in the ends, wash, and block!
