Notes

7.13.13 The skirt made its debut! There is still some tweaking to be done; the waist and hip aren’t tight enough to stay up, and my yarn makes it heavy so that it was threatening to slide down my slip. I’ll need to figure out how to keep it on for the next wearing.

4.5.13 I’m mostly done with the second row of hexagons now- I’m really enjoying making this, and am especially happy to be integrating not only my own dyed yarn, but also some vibrant repurposed yarn from a cardigan I’d disassembled last spring. It goes surprisingly well! The plan now is to have a row of the dyed, then the brighter heathered, then more dyed, and on from there. Maybe alternating in one row? Not sure yet. Loads of fun, though in photographing it it does resemble a row of small cone bra cups. ;)

I have a bunch of this vibrantly dyed yarn that’s the right weight, I think- I’m going to give this a go and see what happens. :)
