I bought this pattern at a downtown PDX LYS and hadn’t known what yarn I’d use. After disassembling a rather hideous jacket I found at Goodwill made of scrumptious pavonian Shetland wool, I’m now using that yarn to make this! The jacket is featured in the 3rd photo.

7.4.13 The sweater is done except for sewing up the front structural detail- I think I’ll really enjoy it- the photo doesn’t do it justice. Maybe once it’s not in the 90s again. :)

10.3.13 I’d actually thrown this in the trash as I was disgusted with how stupid the structural element looked with my yarn. But that softened it up! So I’m giving it a chance after all. ;)
