L’ennesima borsa a rete dell’estate 2018. Il fondo è lavorato in tondo, a maglia alta con il cotone avio. Il corpo della borsa è in beige, ho usato una rete un po’ più compatta di quella che si vede usare di solito per le shopper: su una riga ho alternato gruppi di maglie alte ad archetti di catenelle volanti, sulla riga successiva ho lavorato maglie basse sulle maglie alte, mantenendo costante il numero delle catenelle. Ho sempre alternato queste due righe, fino al margine, che ho eseguito in azzurro, a maglie basse e maglie in rilievo. La tracolla è stata lavorata separatamente e poi cucita.
Le frange sono dovute a un momento anni ‘70 che non mi spiego.

Another net bag. I used two colours. I worked the base in the round, in UK treble, then started the net with the contrasting colour.
I did some front post stitches at the top of the bag, to fend off boredom.
The strap is worked separately and seamed.
I left some fringes because I was feeling a bit ’70s.
