The starting bits I had trouble with explained:

• In the fptr2tog, the first leg is in the 2nd post in the sc row (so you stick your hook around the short stitches, not the long ones).
• The second leg has 3 sc posts between it and the first stitch, so you are scing around the 4th post after the first leg.
• When you make the subsequent fptr2tog, the first leg is ALWAYS going into the 2nd leg of the previous fptr2tog.
• fptr2tog “over” a stitch, means that you sc your first x sts, then fptr2tog, then normally in the spot where you’d do the next sc, you don’t do that stitch and do the next one instead.

April 5th, 2013 I can’t believe that in the last Moreton, I did the first set of “v”s incorrectly! A light just went off in my head after I started this one!

April 11, 2013 Note to self - After a big drinking night or when half asleep, you will likely make mistakes. Had to redo a few bits as a result. And to think doing it a second time would make it EASIER. Obviously, not easy enough to do it with so little concentration.

April 19, 2013 Got some hand made buttons from the lovely Jess (HappyKnittingMum) from AppleSpice. This is going to look sooo cute!

April 20, 2013 This is so freakin’ cute. Buttons attached, finished. Didn’t have time to add the hat elastic though. It’s a shame I didn’t have gold thread, that would’ve looked way better to sew on the buttons.
