11/9 - created fabric with this lovely yarn is pretty dense even with a F hook. I am not sure 995 yards is going to be enough to with the number of repeats I have (14 shells).

11/17 - finished. I did five single crochets rows along the neck and I have 272 yards left. I could have probably done 15 shells and had enough yarn. It certainly looks different blocked.

11/19 - took her off the blocking mat tonight and it was too dark to get decent photos but my goodness what a difference blocking makes! I think I love the way this looks on me! Have to get some modeling photos up. The yarn feels much much softer blocked and has a wonderful springiness - not that it didn’t feel soft while crocheting because it did, it felt great. And the color has a subtle beauty that has really grown on me.

2/9 - my first Tucson shawl photos. Cactus instead of lilac tree!
