I have 3+ skeins of this Kauni in stash and thought it perfect for a scallop or heart shaped shawl. So far this is a very simple shawl but the writer and tester have it listed as harder, perhaps as we get deeper into the pattern? For now I’m enjoying myself with the knit.

Finished clue 3 and there’s a bad buckle when you stop doing the center increase and just go to flat knitting. Not sure what to do with it but it makes a nice pocket. If I were to do it again I would stop increasing in the center BEFORE you hit the center patterning. Also there’s an error on the last row of chart 3 should be a triangle instead of a V there, you will find it.

Changed the b/o and made a cute beaded little 3 petal crocheted flower there. This is for DD’s 15th’s b-day.

After seeing how this b/o I decided to change the last clue. I didn’t want the extra point between the larger point so in row 167 I didn’t add yo’s to the points, 168 I P3tog on the point and then changed the b/o. Using a crochet hook I sc into the st, ch 1, sc till I got to the double yo then I sc into the first, ch 3, sc into the loop, ch 2 PB, ch 2, sc into the loop, ch 3 sc into the loop then went back to the sc, ch 1 across. I like this border better and the cute little half flower made on each point.
