1/31/14 This is the hat to replace my “No Deer Ticks Allowed!” project (North Lyme. I hope I will have better luck with this one!

2/2/14 Actually started it yesterday. I decided to rename the project to “Relax, man! No flies on me!” because I’ve been doing a lot of the work on it while waiting for my genetics experiment flies to fall asleep in the anaesthetizer. The fact that both hat projects for Chimae have bugs in the name has nothing to do with Chimae!

2/9/14 Finished it today at the laundromat. Very easy knit. There was another woman there, and her husband and son came to pick her up, and they both commented on how nice it looked, so I’d guess that the “unisex, edging towards masculine” that Heather said Chimae would like is a good description for this!
