Had a horrible time trying to find the ch’s to put the sts into. I’m thinking I don’t like boucle so much. The good news is that the majority of the jacket is done by dc’ing into spaces.

5-16-10 update - After much ripping and re-doing, I have the body of the jacket almost done. Here’s what I did so I can remember for next time:
Started arm holes after row 16.
Ch 10 with another yarn completely cause I can’t see in the boucle yarn at all.
Over that ch 10, I did decreases down to the waist based on the following:
Row 1 and 2 - 4 dc
Row 3 - change last 2 dc to a dc cluster
Row 4 - 3 dc
Row 5 - change last 2 dc to a dc cluster
Row 6 - 2 dc
Row 7 - change to 3 dc
Row 8 - change to 4 dc
Row 9 - increase the entire row to 5 dc
Work even for total of 17 rows after armpit.

5-17-10 update - cancel that 17 rows after armpit. I’m going a bit longer so it’ll end on a darker stripe. Will update with row total upon completion.

5-18-10 update - I think I did about 20 rows after the armpit. Did not fasten off; instead started border. Sc up the front, dc around neckline, sc back down other front.

5-19-10 update - Going with shorter sleeves, probably around elbow length.

5-21-10 update - She’s done! Only took one month. I ended up doing 8 rounds for the sleeves. According to my measurements, I have 109 yards leftover.
