Notes

Started this over 3 times now. I changed up the pattern slightly to make it even. The 14 count pattern had you ending with a K3, and starting with a K2tog, which when I got to the V-neck part, made it all awkward looking. So, now I’m using a 13 count pattern, starting and ending with a K1 so it’s even. Yes, I am turning into Monk.

10-7-09 - Picked this back up again when I saw it sitting in my basket. I’ve worked the sc around the neckline and I’m starting on the armholes before I finish the body. I’ve done a total of 6 repeats of the closed pattern to cover the boobage area. I think I’ll do one more repeat or so in the size 6 of the open pattern before changing up to the 7’s.

6-10-10 - I just have to weave in ALL the ends. Still rather tight in the boobage area, but I’m hoping that’s cause I’m nursing right now.

7-28-10 - ends are all woven in. Not bad, only took me a year to make. I may enter this in the county fair if I get the courage to wash it.

8-8-10 update - won a 2nd place ribbon at the Johnson County fair in the knitted clothes class!
