Notes

I STRONGLY recommend washing & blocking your swatch.
My heart sank when the back blocked waaay bigger than the gauge I thought I was knitting to. (And I had swatched--I just didn’t wash and block it.)

The good news is that the yarn is so wonderfully springy and elastic that it snapped back into shape when fully dry.

It’s also a good idea to look at your skeins strategically, and think about which you’ll be knitting with where. The color is beautiful, but it’s a hand-dyed semi-solid, and there are variations. I’ve been alternating--two rows with one ball, two rows with the next, but there was a point where I took back several inches and switched to a different ball so the front and back would be more uniform. (The ball that was too different is working into the shoulder ribbing just fine now.)

Great yarn to work with on a project like this with lots of stockinette--the pleasure of working with it staves off any possible boredom!

I will weigh the yarn I have left--might have got away with 5 skeins, but I was alternating skeins.

I sewed the seams with Wildfoote sock yarn.

So pleased--the yarn really suits the pattern, and it fits and looks great!
