Notes

Now, granted I didn’t swatch (and it’s a good thing I didn’t), but I cracked open a skein of Wollmeise Twin thinking it would be perfect for the Medium size (450-525 yards).

I ran out of yarn on row 11 of chart IV.

I found a lovely Raveler who sent me about 8g more of the color I needed, and I thought that would at least get me through one of the rows on chart V.

I ended up binding off after row 12 of chart IV, and ran out of yarn with 10 stitches left to bind off.

I Russian joined the 12” from my cast on tail to the end and was able to bind off and weave in the end. But man, I’ve never had a problem like that after meeting the yardage requirements!

September 6, 2010: It’s blocking. Unfortunately, even though I cast off with size 10.5 needles, it’s so tight that it won’t make points. I have no idea where this thing went so horribly wrong. :(
