Testing out this hat pattern on larger needles than I’d normally use. Size 9’s for the ribbing and size 11’s for the body of the hat.

I only cast on 80 sts instead of 85; not a huge difference really, and I’d probably do just 75 next time if I used these larger needles. The brim measures at 19” approximately, which is loser than i’m used to. It still keeps my ears warm, however.
