baby sweater for the monster! knit in newborn size, as the next size is 6 months - this should fit him all winter long.

notes:

• worked according to pattern until neck.

• did not cast off/on extra stitches when making neck hole at 9cm. continued on with neck hole as-is for full 12 cm.

• worked 21 rows on each side of neck before re-joining for second sleeve.

• finished sleeves as pattern called for.

• picked up 21 stitches along front and back, with two stitches at each armpit. then kfb/pfb of each stitch on front / back.

• didn’t make a button band, simply knit sweater around in 2x2 ribbing until it was 20cm from armpits.

• ran out of lime yarn, so added a bit of grey to the bottom to make sweater long enough.
