Tag says chocolate alpaca 70% / silk 30%. Closest match.

Not sure why I picked this for the first thing on the wheel. But it was so lovely. And I wanted to see how it spun up. I think with how consistent the Ladybug spins, this should be amazing.

Split the fiber in three.

I was hoping to get a lovely lacey shawl out of it. With the color, if I could get it consistent enough, I should be able to knit something with actual pattern. Might be a first for my handspun. grin

Didn’t have an issue with consistency. However, I overplyed it. sigh Also, given it is 70% alpaca, it is a terrible idea to try to do anything that requires memory. Ah well.

Though I still love it. Thinking I can add some beads to add a bit of weight to pull out the overtwist. crosses fingers
