Notes

I am fairly certain I started spinning this when I got the fiber back in April 2012. I think I set it aside to spin for the Tour de Fleece that year. And there it sat in limbo.

I think I picked it up again in 2013 & spun a bit more. But then put it down again.

So I decided to finish it for the 2014 Tour de Fleece. No, it won’t count for the Loop group. But I just really want to finish it as it is a stunning colorway. And I love it.

The colorway was custom for me. I adore it. And it is all me! So I am hoping DD won’t want to steal it for a change. laugh

Spinning up super fine which is why I think I keep stopping and starting. I would have loved to finish it for the TdF but I didn’t think that would happen given how very fine it is spinning.

Fiber is merino, corrindale, bamboo & tussah silk. As always, the prep is amazing. So lovely. And the sheen it beautiful. So very lovely.

I finished spinning the single on the last day of the TdF. So I let it rest a bit before I Navajo plied it.

As per usual, I adore the way the Bump spun up. So easy to keep consistent given the amazing fiber prep!

I got 14-15 WPI consistently. Nice & even.
