Notes

Really wanted a nice cowl for this yarn. But between the woolen spun yarn & the colors, it needed to be something kinda simple.

I looked at a lot of patterns & decided to try the Honey Cowl. It has been in my favs for eons.

Still wondering if the pattern won’t get lost in the handspun yarn as it isn’t super consistent. It is also woolen spun. So I think the pattern & yarn will make it way warm & cozy.

I cast on 320 sts. I wanted it to be a much longer loop. My Icordion Cowl is one of my favs. And I figured a cowl of a similar length that I can wear in a single or double loop would be good.

I started on size 8 needles & knit a tiny swatch. I so rarely swatch. But I didn’t want to cast on hundreds of stitches & then not like the consistency. Glad I did. It was feeling too dense. So I went up to size 10s. Definitely happy I made the change.

Curious to see how long this turns out. But I think even if it is pretty long, I will like that. I like to double it often.

Started the stockinette when I got to 10 gms, So glad I did as I know I couldn’t have gotten another repeat done.

Used the bind off suggested by Taloferia. Went up from 10s to 15s. Think it works well.
