Notes

Second shipment of the fourth Dresden club. Lovely colorway. I was really thinking about something for one of my guys (my hubby or son.) But my daughter wants it too!

There was more purple in it than I thought at first glance. So I think it is definitely a bit more feminine.

I spun it with someone in mind… Hoping to make a prayer shawl for her as she is going through a rough time…

Decided to put this on my wheel as part of the 2014 Tour de Fleece.

Figured with the colors, fractal spinning was the way to go.

Split the fiber in half. Took one half & fluffed it. Took the other half and split it 8 times. So there are much smaller repeats. I figure this way there will be some interesting color blends & changes.

The colors blended beautifully. It feels a bit like an Impressionist color palette. But with the plies, it is reminding me of Seurat. Though the colors aren’t as pure as his as they are more muted.

I really can’t wait to knit this. Though into what is an excellent question. But it is so lovely!

Took longer to spin than I anticipated as it spun up nice and thin. Fairly certain it is a fingering.
