2/24/16 Knitting is done! The new skein was a little darker and a little bronzer than the first two, but it’s not very noticeable. It definitely needs some serious blocking!

1/30/16 I’m working on the last section, where you bind off a few stitches every WS row. I’ve bound off about half so far and only have enough yarn left for another couple of rows :( I’ve started scouting around for options. There’s one skein of the same colorway (same yardage) available fsot on rav, but I don’t know that I want to buy a whole new skein. However, I do love this yarn and the colorway, so maybe that wouldn’t be the end of the world. It’s discontinued so that would be the only way to get it. Another option would be to get a unicorn tail or two in a complementary color and finish it out. It would be the second half of the bind off rows and then adding an I cord border around the long edge. I have one already in button jar blue and part of me is really tempted to use that…but I think it would be too bright. My runner up choice at the moment is jade.

1/26/16 This is working up quickly. I am pretty sure I am going to run out of yarn, though. I don’t think there’s much chance of getting any more TML in Filigree and, even if I did, there’s no way it would match. So I’m thinking about getting a complementary solid or semisolid and finishing it out with that. So, I chose to make it the full size called for in the pattern.

I can’t wait to see it when it’s been blocked. There’s not much sense posting any updated photos because it’s so hard to see unblocked. It’s looking very nice, though. The yarn is the perfect texture and colorway.
