5/11/16 I was finally able to get some modeled pics. The model is in constant motion, so it was a little tough! When I blocked this, it got super long--longer than the kid is tall, even. So, I wet it down again and threw it in the dryer. I was afraid it would be ruined, but it worked pretty well. Even so, it’s a little large on her and very long. I expect it will fit her in the fall or next spring.

3/8 Wove in the ends and sewed on polka dot buttons!

3/7/16 Just bound off using US10s. I played yarn chicken and lost--I ran out of the third skein halfway through the bind off. I tapped into skein #4 to finish up.

This knit up very quickly. I picked out orange polka dot buttons! Just have to sew them on, weave in ends and block.

I like this yarn a lot. It is very soft and the color is gorgeous. I think it’s more of an aran weight than worsted, though.

3/2/16 Swatched and cast on today. I got closest to gauge on US7s so I’m using those for the body. I used US6s for the yoke. So far I’ve finished the top yoke with buttonholes, bound off for the sleeves and started working in the round for the body. Looks good!

18 mo. Needs 350 yds worsted. Needs US6 and 8 needles. Due 3/15/16.
