Test knitting pattern in a new format for Cookie’s new book.

UPDATE: 05/25/11 - well, I’m trading a friend for yarn and she is going to knit the second sock for me. So I’m calling this done! :-)

07/09/10 - Finished (one) by the deadline! These are pics of sock unblocked.

07/08/10 - I can’t believe it but I am almost done with these. The heel flap had to be the hardest part! I think I have one more chart B & C repeat before starting the toe decreases. I just can’t do anymore tonight.

07/07/10 - This is gonna be tight. I just started chart D for the back of the leg. I have one more day to finish these…

07/06/10 - Almost done with chart G. Yay!

07/05/10 - Finally finished with chart D. It should be much quicker…until I get to the heel.

07/04/10 - Ok - had a minor set back (twice) and had to start all over on the second try but I’m now on track. I’m knitting the F2, S2 size. Finished row 16 of chart D.

07/02/10 - Dude! Not for the faint of heart! These have to be the most intricate pattern I’ve ever knit. No hammering these out in 3 days.

Started w/ 350 gram cone.
286 grams left after first sock.
