• Cast on two at a time using Judy’s magic loop
• Increase rows doing K1 M1L K to 1 stitch before end of row, M1R, K1 (mirror knitting)
• Ended with 22 stitches each side (44), stockinette row
• Continue foot next time until 36 stitches each side (72) starting with increase row

• Decided large size was too large, frogged everything.
• Husband helped me make FLKH cardboard templates.
• Cast on again two at a time using Judy’s magic cast-on
• Ended with 20 stitches each side, stockinette

4/5/2014

• Finished toe, using medium size
• Started on chart 1

4/25/2014

• 2 full repeats of chart 1
• On 3rd repeat of chart 1 row 18, started FLKH instructions to turn heel
• Next row should be chart 1 row 19

4/26/2014
- Completed both FLKH minus the 1” stockinette above the heel

5/4/2014

• Finally back to the KAL
• Continued with row 19 of chart 1
• Finished third chart 1 repeat
• Started fourth chart repeat
• Start with row 10 next time to continue in pattern
• Deciding if I want short socks or to keep going to use up the yarn, there is quite a bit left

- Made it through row 22 of fourth chart repeat

- Started sixth chart repeat

• Completed sixth chart repeat
• Started chart 2
• Ended after row 6 of chart 2

• Oh my! I cannot believe I’m finished! I had maybe a yard of yarn to spare.
• Used slipslipknit’s miraculous elastic bind-off, which is really miraculously elastic.
• Will be weaving in ends tomorrow and taking photos. Hooray! Another KAL almost completed!
