Decided to make something fun with this. I normally don’t knit with such bright colors, but it’s a colorway I opted not to use in my Briochealicious and so it deserved to be knitted into something. :)

So far, I’m knitting this per pattern and I plan to use as much yarn as possible.

5/17/16- Finally committed to a final push to finish this as a birthday gift for a friend, since it’s not really my color. Even though I wouldn’t wear something this bright, I LOVE THIS FO. And it only uses one skein of sock yarn! (And now I want to make one in grey ;)

The Pattern

Well-written, but a bit monotonous at this scale (I didn’t expect otherwise). But this isn’t a pattern you knit for the process, you knit this in order to have something incredibly wearable when all is said-and-done. Because gosh, fingering weight wears so easily.

Mods

I knit this per pattern, with one exception:

• Knit 1.5 repeats of the border section (rather than the specified 2), because I ran out of yarn. I still think the border section looks nice.
