Notes

4/15/15 - gauge: 23 stitches over 4 inches on size 4 needles (blocked).
4/18/15 - Beginning. Cast on 150 stitches using crochet cast on--my first time trying this!
6/13/15 - Knitting is done, end woven in, and it’s blocking (finally)!
6/15/15 - I-cord complete--I knit it to ~41 inches. It’s done and I LOVE IT. I sent a photo to my husband and he replied, “Coolest thing you’ve made.” ;)

Overall Impressions
A simple, but clever pattern. I loved how the cord’s casing was incorporated with the crochet cast-on. It creates such a clean finish, plus it was a new skill for me.

It shouldn’t have taken me so long to complete this, really. It’s not a big project, but it is a lot of stockinette, so I felt a little bored, especially since I just finished my Lila, which is also a lot of stockinette. Once I made it past the stripe, which I really love (I knit is using leftover ToshDK from a slouchy hat) I gained momentum.

I think there’s a good chance I would knit this again, since I think it’s going to be incredibly wearable and somewhat multi-seasonal, even in Austin.

And of course….it’s a dream in ToshDK.
