Notes

October 2014: I decided to frog this project. I’m finishing up a Scalene, which also has lots of garter stitch stripes with increases at the end. But the Scalene pattern is a more interesting because of the holes for pulling through the ends of the scarf.

I decided to use the yarn for something I’ll love to knit instead of forcing myself to knit this project just to finish up another wip. Plus there’s only so much mindless garter stitch that I can take. The yarn is gorgeous, I’m sure I’ll find good use for another project

April 2013: I found this design when it was trending among the Top 20 on the pattern page. I liked the idea of a light but still squishy scarf, and yay for stripes!

This is a really easy project - you’re basically knitting stripes with increases at the beginning & end of every row. And changing colors every other row. A good beginner project. But honestly, I’m already bored out of my mind. This will be public transit/waiting in line project. It’ll really take some discipline to finish this one without it sitting in my wip pile for, well, forever…
