Sarita requested “just a rose” for her birthday. Well, I cheated on that gift request, and made her a ‘lace rose’ - I just have to roll up the Ishbel into the shape of a rose.

Per family request, I made the stockingette section even bigger than in the pattern, for a total of 267 stitches (before repeating Row 1 and starting on the vine pattern). That’s a total of 41 repeats of rows 3 & 4, rather than 25 or 33 times.

With the smaller yardage of the Twin skein, I only did the small lace. Still, it’s large and lovely, and I love the color. Gifting is about to commence!
