Dad’s not a fan of cowls - he doesn’t really want pull them over his head. So this was the perfect solution - something to keep him warm when he doesn’t want to wear a big scarf, and easy enough to put on.

I did make it broader, casting on 34 stitches. I accordingly modified the button row, placing the button holes every 6/7 stitches.

This is a great fast and easy knit, perfect as a holiday gift.
