I originally planned to make the Little Ripper pattern, but I really didn’t like the idea of Velcro closures. Imagine what a fuzzy mess that would be with the Malabrigo pilling!

Instead I decided to use the Little Ripper stitch pattern tomake a Thermis that could be completely unbuttoned - and I had the perfect buttons for a little three year old girl. The result - the perfect cowl for a girl who loooooves pink.

Btw, I got some feedback from the mother - the yarn felted up so quickly, despite careful washing. This is why I’m so hesitant to work with Malabrigo’s merino worsted. I’d hate to knit up a sweater and then have it felt up on me - even though I love the colors…
