Explanation of how your homework fits the prompt: This hat is a smooth, soft, reassuring shade of taupe with soft, undulating cables, quite reminiscent of the lullaby my mother used to sing while accompanying herself on piano. When my sister and I were kids, we would leave our bedroom doors open so we could hear her playing and singing from the living room down the hallway. The color of this hat also reminded me of Fluffy’s luxurious fur, not that I’d get close enough to pet him unless the music was playing and he was safely snoring.
