Adapting the pattern. Toe up, 64 sts. Short row toe. 11/10/11.

Took me a bit to memorize the pattern but I just had to figure out the best way to do it (I split the 8 sts repeat into 5 and 3 sts). After that, it went quickly.

Did a 1/1 rib ktbl for 29 rounds (as husband likes thick cuffs).

The socks are completely awesome looking. They look so sharp on and husband says they are wonderfully stretchy. This would be a great pattern when you want the forgiveness of a ribbed foot/leg but that much ribbing makes you want to cry.

The yarn feels wonderful. I can’t wait to see how it wears but it seems like it is going to do well.

Socks took 80g.

Round 1: *k1, p1, k1, p5, repeat from * to end.
Round 2 and all even-numbered rounds: repeat previous round.
Round 3: k1, p1, *k5, p1, k1, p1, repeat from *, ending k5, p1
Round 5: k1, *p5, k1, p1, k1, repeat from *, ending p5, k1, p1.
Round 7: *k5, p1, k1, p1, repeat from * to end.
Round 9: p4, *k1, p1, k1, p5, repeat from *, ending k1, p1, k1, p1.
Round 11: k3, *p1, k1, p1, k5, repeat from *, ending p1, k1, p1, k2
Round 13: p2, *k1, p1, k1, p5, repeat from *, ending k1, p1, k1, p3.
