Mittens for my friend from California- keeping her hands warm as she summits mountains!

UPDATE 11/14- My kitten Maeby ate most of the yarn meant for this project, so I’m switching gears from the “Grove” mittens to the “Kathleen” hat. Dumb kitten. Her poop was exceedingly colorful for awhile…

2/11- finished! Took a very long break between the ribbing and the cables, otherwise I could have finished this earlier. It’s a little stiff on the top for my taste, but hopefully the blocking will ease that up a little bit.
