I’m making this character for our year long charity challenge, this character is for June and was selected from a poll ran on my blog. The challenge is called Amigurumi Charity Run and in June we are raising money for Support Dogs UK. We have a general donation page and at the end of the month we also hold a raffle where this amigurumi character is the prize .

I need to update this project asap with yarn used, more photos etc and I will be doing that over the next 24 hours.

Hook Size Info

I used 3.25mm throughout all of the project when directed to do so however I had to use 3.5mm hook to make the helmet as when I tried with the recommended size it was too small. Oh and when asked for the 1.75mm steel hook I used a 2mm hook as that was the smallest I had but it worked perfectly.

Project Notes

I actually started on the 25th and did the legs however I wasn’t happy with them the next day so I re-did them hence selecting the start date as the 26th.

I made a helmet and it was too small so I had to make another with a bigger hook. I wasted 4g of yarn on this so I’ve logged 10g but this includes the helmet I didn’t use.

I’ve had to log 12g of DK silver grey but obviously I didn’t use that much to make the round circles on the front of his body. My stash is obviously out slightly. I’d say I only used a gram or two for this project.
