8/11/12 - the flower did not turn out as it was supposed to as I must be misinterpreting the instructions. I am ok with it but I will probably not make the the flower this way for the next pair.

1/11/12 - Not sure if 12ply with 5mm needles is a good idea but its a fairly quick knit so I will soon find out! Really enjoying learning the two stitches, bamboo and hourglass rib.

Hoping this works out so that I can make another pair for Tay and perhaps my Step DILs.
