This was both a very quick and very fun knit. It’s a really basic hat (with a decrease that goes to a peak instead of rounding off) to which you add ears and ear flaps. Felting covers up any mistakes, and you can felt to whatever size you’d like.

This was my first experience with i cord, which was a lot easier than I had anticipated. Also, this was my first project where I purposely felted something. One trip through a normal wash and dry cycle, and then a second trip through a gentle wash cycle and air drying to finish it off. I can’t wait to gift this hat.
