I used worsted weight yarn on US7 needles for this cute little hat. I used US 4 for the i-cord and the ears. I followed the baby size for a 2 year old. I think this will fit her. :)
I accidentally did the border in stockinette instead of garter sts and didn’t notice until after I did the i-cord. (whoops) I fixed the rolled edges by blocking and doing a single crochet border around the hat. The pom poms at the end of the ties are made with faux fur. I used felt for the eyes and nose then backstitched on the rest of the facial details.
