I wanted a warm cowl but I am also about to head to England. I figured I could knit this on the plane (since there isn’t much else to do on a plane) and then I wouldn’t need to take my other cowl.

I’m making this a larger circumference and longer than the original cowl. I’m casting on 108 stitches (it’ll be 27 inches in circumference) and I’ll knit until it’s about 18-20 inches long. The cable pattern won’t show up as clearly because this is a thick-thin mohair yarn, but it’ll be warm and look pretty, I think.
