Notes

i got two skeins of this yarn on clearance and they have just been sitting and waiting for the perfect project.

i just ordered three more skeins (my first time buying yarn online!) on WEBS but im gonna start IMMEDIATELY.

here’s hoping the dye lots are close?

i didnt use the smaller needle for the lower hem, since my hips are pretty wide and i didnt want it to be tight at the bottom. i will though for the sleeve cuffs and neck edge.

dec 10 and i am working on sleeve one! body is done up to the pits. i want to wear it nowwwww.

jan 25 i joined body and sleeves in a friday night lights frenzy that may have lasted til 3:45am. oooops. so close now!!

I did a few extra increases before the collar bc the neck opening seemed big to me. it’s blocking now- we’ll see!!

i had a p serious sadpanic moment when i cast off and tried this on right away. it was a bit small- and not in a cute way. but it was FUCKING TRANSFORMED by blocking into being exactly right. the fabric is lush and fluid and drapey without being heavy or clingy. the length is just right. the sleeves are just right. i’m literally thrilled by this.

i kind of hate grafting, so i did a three needle BO for the armpits, but i did it on the INSIDE bc i am a genius. these armpits look great.
