First project using my own hand spun yarn. The yarn turned out very thick & thin, but worked great with this project and in this color. I knit the hat for Amy and she loves it.

Only modification is I began decreasing with K8 K2tog instead of K14 K2tog as I was worried about the amount of yarn I had remaining. Had I dipped into my “mini-skein” that I had leftover from plying, I probably could have stretched out the decrease rows to match pattern, but am happy with the modification.
