Notes

I fell in love with this little frog, but I didn’t want to make all of the separate pieces and then seam them together. After I took Susan B Anderson’s Crafty Class “Wee Ones” and learned about picking up stitches off of your animal body to add arms/legs/eyeballs etc, this has become my preferred method.

So, I picked up the required number of stitches specified in the pattern off of the completed (and stuffed) frog body, using the picture for placement ideas. I think it turned out fabulous, and also the “frog pieces” seem much more secure IMO, which makes it ideal for a child’s plaything :).

I also made him a little drawstring bag to “gift him” in, using my favorite drawstring project bag pattern. Just adds a little something extra :)
