I divided up this bare skein into 13 mini-skeins (32 yards each) - and then prepared rainbow colored dyebaths using Wilton’s icing gels (supplemented with Strawberry KoolAid for the red). Each mini-skein was soaked in lukewarm water with vinegar, and then placed into a mason jar of dye and topped off with boiling water. The jars were allowed to cool, and then microwaved for 2 minute intervals (2x). Mini’s were rinsed till clear, and hung outside to dry :)

I don’t have a recipe(I know… shame, shame on this chemist). I simply put a little gob of each color gel in a mason jar, filled it partway with boiling water, and then dropped in my (presoaked in vinegar water) superwash mini skeins. Wilton’s Icing colors were: Christmas Red (+ 1 package of strawberry Koolaid), Sky Blue, Violet, Buttercup Yellow, Orange (+ a couple dropperfuls of the red liquid to try and make it more orangey) & Leaf Green. A little Wilton’s goes a long way… so I probably had too much dye (dye bath never did come clear on the darker colors)
