I got three rows in on some horrible plastic needles. Ripped everything out, returning the needles and starting again with stainless.

The hat came out a little larger than I had hoped. I’m not a loose knitter but usually I use a tighter worsted/silk blend so perhaps I was unprepared for the drapey-ness of the cashmere blend. If I make it again I would do less initial ribbing (as many suggested - less than the 6 inches proposed) and begin on 7’s and end on 8’s (vs. 8’s and 9’s).

I confess that I have wetted it and thrown it in the dryer on low. I think I need to do it again though!

The yarns felt wonderful to work with. Beautiful colors - so rich with variation.
