It’s not easy to make a gift birth when you don’t know if it’s a girl or a boy so I made a blanket and I took the same colors as the baby bedroom.
Didn’t follow the pattern but I loved the idea of making a square blanket.
Cast on 6, join to work in the round,
knit one , make one. at the same time put the markers as follow: one for the beginning of the row,1 stitch, 1 marker, 2 stitches, 1 marker, 1 stitch, 1 marker, 2 stitches, 1 marker, 1 stitch, 1 marker, 2 stitches, 1 marker, 1 stitch. (12 stitches).
in stockinette make a yarn over as follow on even rows:
k1,slip Marker,yo,k2 (4,6,…), yo, sM, k1, sM,yo, k2(4,6…),yo, sM, k1,sM, yo,k2 (4, 6…),yo,sM,k1,sM,yo,k2 (4,6…),yo.
