TYarn : I used an undershirt that was ready for the trash. Cut off the hem, circle up the shirt at about 1” thick to armpits and end. Pull yarn lengthwise in sections to curl, then center-pull wind.
Then, just garter stitch up a washcloth.
CO 20 or so, slip first stitch knitwise on every row and keep knitting until square.
The hook is a dumb single-knit loop over and over and I knotted things on the ends because I want to wash and scrub. I probably knotted wrong, but oh well.
It has some nice stretch with the garter stitch and drys hands well. I wonder if a seed stitch would still be loose enough to absorb good water but be more scrubby…
