Notes

Chain 36 leaving long end. 35 slip stitches per row. 43 pairs of rows, then join last row to cast on row. Carry on and slip stitch loosely around end of wristlet (one stitch to each pair of rows) and fasten off. Use long end from starting chain to slipstitch loosely around other end then fasten off and sew in ends.

Both had same stitch and row count, but second is slightly larger. I must have loosened up the tension as I went on.

Photographs taken at Golden Acre Park, Adel, Leeds.

Note from Daniel: These are great, and still going strong. I wear them whenever I’m on duty - mainly concerts, i.e. most days. Recently they appeared on BBC1 news, in closeup, as part of a Huddersfield Choral Society rehearsal they were filming as a backdrop to a Brexit discussion - they seemed very keen to film my hands (don’t know why!), so these wrist warmers have been seen by millions of people!!
