Notes

26th June: finished both. 2nd neater than 1st. Very cosy! Used about 70g of yarn. Actual colour is a bluey green somewhere between the 2 photos.

7th June: finished 1st mitt. Yarn is slightly thinner than recommended, and my hands are at the larger end of the size, so added extra double rows of slipstitch at various points - probably 8 extra rows in total. Also needed to add an extra increasing panel to the thumb. This yarn really doesn’t want to undo, so had to bodge first thumb slightly, but will do the 2nd in a more planned fashion.

The yarn is wonderful, feels really warm and cosy (surely I’m not supposed to be longing for warm and cosy in June?!). It does split a bit, but not enough to make me regret crocheting with it. Colour is Eccup - the name of the next village to my church in Adel, Leeds.
