This black beret is a gift to my sister, who is a stylist.

I used the doily pattern to create a simple beret. My first attempt ended up being too small, but my second attempt may have been too large! Flat, the beret is 11.5” in diameter. The brim is 5.5” in diameter.

This project took a VERY long time because of the small needles and thin yarn used. And I had to get it right!!
Based on the drape (or lack off), I think the beret would have been better made on slightly larger needles.
