This yarn was on sale, so I thought I’d try a bulky project for the coming fall.

Since I had fewer yards than the project called for, and was knitting it with needles a size larger, I made the lace pattern sections four rows longer (two lace rows, two knit) and only did three sections. It ended up perfect, with just 3 yards left at the end! It’s so snuggly and soft that I can’t wait for the weather to get cooler so I can wear it.

Note: I rolled my second skein into a ball so I could work it from the opposite end--this made my colors meet in the middle and mirror back exactly the way I wanted them to!
