Pattern

I think I used Red Heart Super Saver Bright Yellow & Blue.

For Marc Fucarile & his Stoneham friends.

Couldn’t get near the light pole in front of Forum when I arrived, so I hung it near Atlantic Fish. Was able to move it where I wanted it after lunch!

If you are moved by these hearts, please consider making a donation to Marc Fucarile’s recovery fund or the Stoneham Marathon Victims Fund. Thank you!

4/5/14: Discovered today that my hearts are still on the pole! They’re looking a little worse for the wear after a year of pollution.

4/14/14: Discovered that the hearts were in even worse shape than I’d realized. The chained portion of the garland had frayed in multiple spots and been tied together by someone or multiple someone’s. There was also a blue ribbon someone added. I retied the broken strands and moved the hearts back up. Added a tag explaining why they were there.

Hearts on Boylston
LOVE > hate

Hello! My maker put me up on May 25, 2013 for #onerun to honor Marc Fucarile & friends who were injured right here outside Forum. On April 5, 2014, she discovered that we’re still here! She had assumed the city would take us down at some point. We’re a little worse for the wear but she wanted to leave us up so we could continue spreading the message that LOVE
is greater than hate.
