Notes

Modified the pattern a bit, as I hate knitting back and forth; CO 2x82 sts on circs and worked in the round instead.

Already sewed the hem after knitting about 10cm, as I was really curious about how it would turn out. Thinking I will love myself for the limited amount of sewing up at the end.. ;o)

I frogged the whole thing when I was about to start on the armholes. It was waaay to big! Started from scratch with size 3.5mm needles.

This size needles worked perfectly. I made loops on the sides for a belt (thinking that I can just use a ribbon and change the color to whatever I like), and made the neckline drape a bit more drapey (like the other version Beautia has on her project page).
I also knitted the top in the round instead of in two pieces, splitting the pieces at the armhole part and knitting back and forth from there. It hasn’t made any difference as to the width, I think.

Instructions for the changes I’ve made:
Side loops: At about 20cm, I put 6 sts at each side on a stitch holder (3 on each side of my markers schowing the “side seams”). I picked up 6 sts on the back of the sts I put aside, knitting them as part of the body, while knitting & purling back and forth on the sts held to the front of the work (slipping the first st on each row). I knitted 10 rows, then knitted each picked up stitch together with the corresponding stitch held at the front of the work. And then I just continued from there :o)
To make the side loops at the place which is perfect for you, measure down from you shoulder to see how much of the body part you need to have left too make the loops.

Extra neckline draping: At first I did the neckline draping as in the pattern. Then I worked about 5 rows, before following the procedure for increasing again a total of 7 times. This increased the drape for about 7cm extra.

Note that you have to have plenty of yarn if you want to make the changes! I bought 7 skeins of Muscat for this, even though the pattern called for only 6 skeins of the yarn which was 5m more per skein. I just wanted to make sure I had enough.
